The Ultra Filter Cartridge is our most advanced filtration option for the MAV02 system, providing all the benefits of the Advanced MAV01 cartridge while adding enhanced limescale reduction.

Designed to reduce chlorine, lead, heavy metals, fluoride, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), microplastics, PFAS ("forever chemicals"), unpleasant tastes and odours, and limescale in water hardness up to 250 mg/L, it delivers exceptionally clean, fresh-tasting drinking water while retaining the beneficial minerals naturally found in water.

Unlike many filtration technologies, the Ultra Filter Cartridge is designed to maintain healthy minerals such as calcium and magnesium, helping to preserve both the natural taste of your water and its nutritional value.

Limescale Reduction Technology

The Ultra Filter Cartridge uses advanced anti-scale media that helps reduce the ability of calcium and magnesium minerals to form hard limescale deposits on kettles, taps, heating elements, and appliances. Unlike water softeners or reverse osmosis systems, it does not remove these beneficial minerals from the water, allowing you to retain their health and taste benefits.

The anti-scale technology is designed to work effectively in water hardness levels of up to 250 mg/L as CaCO₃. In areas where water hardness exceeds this level, the filter will continue to reduce contaminants and provide excellent-tasting water, but some mineral carryover may occur.

The Ultra Filter Cartridge for the MAV02 is fully compatible with all existing MAV01 systems, allowing customers to upgrade to enhanced filtration without replacing their current housing or installation setup.
